Today's green smoothie ingredients include: 1 knob of ginger, 1 pink grapefruit (sans eggs - see video for this to make sense), 2 cups pineapple, water, 2 tablespoons flax seed & 1 cup of water.
This smoothie supports weight loss, has a good amount of antioxidants/supports the immune system, will help with digestion, complexion, stress and supports heart health.

I added a little bit of apple sauce to take off the edge and LOVED IT. This greenie will be a regular one for me - the grapefruit and ginger is the most refreshing taste ever.

There are NO green smoothies here where I am in India - actually, there really are no greens ... rarely anything but beans, rice and other carbs. Thank goodness I brought my green powder with - that's been helping me to get by! Can't wait to come back and have a quart of greenies!
