Celebrate Earth Day with a Green Smoothie!

Earth Day wouldn't be complete without celebrating with a green smoothie ;-)

This particular green smoothie has lots of goodies in her ... thanks to Momma Earth!

So TASTY & ENERGIZING -- YOWSA!

Spinach (1 handful)
Strawberries (1 cup)
Mango (1 whole)
Goji Berries (small handful)
Maca Powder (1 tsp)
Peaches (about a cup)
a bit 'o banana (1/4)
Hemp Seed (2 tablespoons)
2 cups of water

AmyA's Challenge - "Powaberry" - Day 37

Welcome to Day 37 of the Challenge --- ready, set, blend!

Today's green smoothie is dedicated to my friend Mikel in Austria - he's been very sick & needs some extra Vit C to help him bounce back.  This green smoothie will do it :-D

Today's ingredients include: 1/2 head of romaine lettuce (use 1 whole one if it's not big),1 1/2 cups strawberries, 1 big slice of watermelon, arils (seeds) from 1 pomegranate, 1 cup water, 2 tablespoons chia seed.  Awesome taste -- another 5 for me!

This smoothie is again bursting with energy, loaded with antioxidants, will help fight stress, supports complexion, cleansing,& weight loss.

AmyA's 44-Day Green Smoothie Challenge - Day 33

Welcome to Day 33 of the Challenge --- ready, set, blend! ;-) 

Today's green smoothie ingredients include: 1 mango, 1/2 pineapple, 5 tablespoons yogurt, spinach 1 large handful, 1/4 tsp cardamom (helps to improve digestion and stimulate the metabolism), 1 small knob of ginger, 2 tsp maca, 2 tablespoons flax seed  & 1 cup of water. 

This smoothie is packed with energy, supports the immune system, digestion, metabolism & overall vitality.

Today's green smoothie ingredients include: 1 melon, 1 sweet lime (just the juice), 1 celery stick, mint leaves 5-6, escarole (1 sm handful), 2 tablespoons flax seed  & 1 cup of water. 

This smoothie supports the immune system, complexion, fights stress, and supports cleansing & weight loss.

Today's green smoothie ingredients include: 1 knob of ginger, 1 pink grapefruit (sans eggs - see video for this to make sense), 2 cups pineapple, water, 2 tablespoons flax seed  & 1 cup of water. 

This smoothie supports weight loss, has a good amount of antioxidants/supports the immune system, will help with digestion, complexion, stress and supports heart health.
